Perspectives on Sport
Issues and debates relating to sport and sporting programs are commonplace within the Australian political and media landscape. To provide further informed commentary to assist those debating these major issues, the National Centre for Culture and Recreation Statistics (NCCRS) released the first edition of Perspectives on Sport (cat. no. 4156.0.55.001) in October 2008, with the second edition planned to be released next month.
The October release included three articles covering the following topics:
- Involvement in Organised Sport as a Coach, Referee, Instructor or Teacher
- Constraints and Motivators in Sport and Physical Recreation
- Sport Volunteers.
