LABOUR-RELATED BUSINESS SURVEYS

Business surveys are the primary source of data on earnings, jobs and job vacancies, all of which provide insight into the demand for labour in the Australian labour market. The recent release comprise of: Employee Earnings and Hours, Australia (cat. no. 6306.0).

RELEASE OF EMPLOYEE EARNINGS AND HOURS SURVEY

In January 2011, the ABS released Employee Earnings and Hours, Australia, May 2010 (cat. no. 6306.0). This publication contains statistics on the composition and distribution of earnings of employees and the hours they are paid for, and whether their pay is set by award, collective agreement or individual arrangement
