Dairying is predominantly located along the coastal fringes of the state; however, the highest concentration of milk cattle is found in the Murray Statistical Division (SD). At 30 June 2007, the NSW milk cattle herd stood at 326,000. MILK CATTLE(a), NSW, at 30 June(b)
