Description Data are collected from significant lenders (such as banks, building societies and credit unions) only. Significant lenders account in aggregate for at least 95 per cent of the Australian total and at least 90 per cent of each State total of the value of commitments for secured housing finance for owner occupation, other personal finance, commercial finance and lease finance. An annual collection is conducted to maintain coverage of significant lenders. New lenders are included as their level of lending becomes significant. Data Detail In relation to transport, data are available for personal, commercial and lease finance commitments for motor vehicles. Geographic Coverage Australia, States and Territories. Frequency of Data Availability Data are available monthly. Historical Data Data are available from January 1985.
