Purpose
To provide a regular set of indicators relative to the Australian transport sector.

Description
Use is made of ABS data extracted mainly from PC AUSSTATS. Additional information is obtained from private rail operators and State Rail Authorities. Domestic aviation statistics are obtained from the Department's AVSTATS unit.
