Introduction

This coding index contains a comprehensive list of the most probable responses to questions relating to country and their correct classification codes. In order to distinguish substantive categories of the main classification structure from other entities included in the coding index, the classification categories (major groups, minor groups and countries) have been presented in the index in bold text. A fuller explanation of the coding index can be found in the Coding Index section of the Introduction. ISO codes have been included by permission of Standards Australia who act on behalf of the ISO in Australia.
