Purpose
To provide time series estimates of freight flows in the major intercity corridors (all modes).
Description
The publication provides a methodology for deriving estimated freight flows in intercity corridors. The resulting estimated flows are given for six corridors: Melbourne-Sydney, Sydney-Brisbane, Sydney-Adelaide, Melbourne-Brisbane, Melbourne-Adelaide and Eastern States-Perth.
The methodology relies on scaling up partial ABS freight flow surveys.
