NSW Census Collector Recruitment Launch – 8,200 opportunities
Australia’s largest ever peace-time job drive is about to begin.
The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) is hiring a record 8,200 Census Collectors in NSW to help conduct the Census of Population and Housing on 9 August 2011.
Starting from 1 July, Census Collectors from all walks of life will pound the pavement to deliver and collect more than four million Census forms to NSW’s 3.1 million households.
Monday's recruitment launch will celebrate the "many faces of Census Collectors". The ABS is looking for people of all ages, from all backgrounds and with wide-ranging experiences, to become Census Collectors.
