We’re looking for passionate and professional project managers to work on the 2016 Census.

District Managers provide valuable knowledge of their local area and are critical to achieving community awareness and participation in the Census.

District Managers are:
  • Non-office based positions requiring travel
  • Casual temporary positions, with flexible working hours.

As a District Manager, you will:
  • Recruit and manage a large team of temporary Census field staff
  • Manage a large-scale operation in an assigned area, including monitoring progress and quality and taking follow up action as required
  • Use networks and form partnerships in your local community to increase understanding of and participation in the Census
  • Earn $50.15 per hour (inclusive of 25% loading).

As a District Manager, you must:
  • Know your local community
  • Hold a current driver’s licence
  • Be computer literate
  • Hold Australian citizenship or have the legal right to work in Australia.
