Australia’s Census data are on the way!

On 21 June, ten months after Census Collectors finished collecting forms from every corner of the country, the first round of Australia’s 2011 Census data will be released.

To help celebrate, we’re looking to profile a number of everyday Australians and show the different ways they have used Census data or how Census data have benefited them or their community.

Maybe you’ve used Census data in a school or uni assignment, in planning for your small business, or in a grant application to help fund an organisation or community project. If so we want to hear from you.

If you have a Census data story you’d like to share, please drop us a line at census.public.relations@abs.gov.au

Please provide:

  • Your name
  • The city/town you live in
  • A picture of yourself
  • In 50 words or less a quick description of how you have used Census data.

The best stories will be featured on the Census Facebook page.
We look forward to hearing from you.
