In 2004–05, the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Survey (NATSIHS) survey was conducted in order to collect information about the health and welfare of Australia's Indigenous population. NATSIHS is the largest health survey of Indigenous Australians conducted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS).
