In this edition of Census Update you can learn about the eCensus and Census Time Capsule initiatives, as well as the latest changes to the Census home page. The new look Census home page is designed to keep you up to date with key issues and upcoming events both during the lead-up and after Census Night (8 August).
Census Update 39 also includes exciting news about the release of the new 2006 Census product range. Soon you will be able to sample 2001 Census statistics in their new format via the ABS web site. This is a valuable opportunity to familiarise yourself with the new, simplified interface before the 2006 data is available.
