Task:

1. Use the space below to rewrite the data in ascending order.

2. Show the 5 figure summary statistics (min, Q1, med, Q3, max) in the table below.

3. Use an appropriate scale to draw parallel box and whisker plots on the number line below. Consider any possible outliers and be prepared to explain whether or not they should be included in the data.

4. Comment on the significant similarities and differences for male and female foot length.

5. Visit the CensusAtSchool website and collect your own random sample. Use the sample to construct another set of parallel box and whisker plots to compare with the one above.
