TASK:
1. What is the study of population called?
2. The diagram below shows the components of population change. Insert the words provided below in the appropriate boxes on the diagram.
Births / Deaths / Immigration / Emigration

Populations change through natural increase (difference between births and deaths) and net overseas migration (difference between immigration and emigration). These values may be either positive or negative.
3. On the diagram above draw a circle around the zone representing natural increase.
4. For your own State or Territory, where do you expect there to be:
