Help: Using CSV Files

The comma-separated values (.csv) file format is a file type that stores tabular data. The .csv file format is a very simple delimited data format that has fields/columns separated by the comma character and records/rows separated by new lines. The .csv file format is widely recognised and can be opened or imported directly into most text editors, spreadsheets and database management systems. They are best viewed within an application that allows easy manipulation of data that is in column format.
