National Report on Schooling in Australia
The ANR is a compilation of data provided by state and federal education agencies, both through the finance and non-finance National Schools Statistics Collections, and from specialist work commissioned or delivered by MCEETYA itself.
Frequency of Collection
Method of collection
The ANR collates data provided by the finance and non-finance NSSC agencies, the MCEETYA Secretariat, and other providers. The other sources include NCVER vocational education data, and ABS social surveys.
Reports are published on the website progressively. The intention is to publish the complete ANR by August or September of the year following the reference year.
All issues of the ANR from 2000 on are available online from the ANR homepage of the MCEETYA website, http://www.mceetya.edu.au/mceetya/. Some printed and bound copies are provided to key education stakeholders, and to federal and state ministers of education.
Data are available for Australia, the states and mainland territories, and some sub-state characteristics for selected items.
The ANR and other data are available on the MCEETYA website, http://www.mceetya.edu.au/mceetya/.
