Broad Description
Results of a survey of 275 superannuation funds using wholesale investment products. Government, industry and corporate funds are covered. The analysis covers service standards of investment manager, asset consultants and custodians.

Purpose of Data
The report establishes and monitors the change in benchmarks for the funds management industry. It identifies the drivers for decisions on investments as well as the unmet needs of trustees. The data can also be used to monitor the success of marketing strategies.

Population
275 superannuation funds each with assets greater than $500,000.
Superannuation Data Items
Performance of 13 major investment managers in relation to reporting, communication, investment team, marketing team, and presentations. Ranking criteria for entry to a short list. Ranking criteria for selection from a short list. Preferred fee structures. Asset allocation, asset classes in $m. Investment structures, balanced and sector pools in $m.
