Purpose

To provide data on the use of information technology (IT) by Australian business enterprises, including those engaged in the mining sector.

Description

A survey of a sample of all businesses except those without employees, and those engaged in agriculture, forestry or fishing. In the 1997-98 survey, approximately 7,000 businesses were surveyed.

Method of collection

Mail questionnaire.

  • Use of the Internet: benefits, barriers and intentions
