Statpak is an online catalogue tailored by the National Education Services Unit (NESU) to meet the needs of the schools sector. Statpak provides links to selected ABS publications and resources selected for their relevance to the curriculum and available for download from the ABS web site. If schools prefer they may still order hardcopies of Statpak publications through NESU. The Learning Areas covered are Agriculture & Horticulture, the Arts, Careers, Commerce & Business, Crime & Justice, Economics, Environmental Studies, Geography, History, Hospitality & Tourism, Indigenous Studies, Industry & Enterprise, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physical Education and Recreation, and Social Studies. The products listed are reviewed every six months with the most suitable products being selected to meet changing curricular requirements. Promotional material is mailed to all secondary and combined schools in Australia twice a year in conjunction with the Statpak review. Statpak is also highlighted through the other promotional activities of the National Education Services Unit such as education conferences.
