The National Register 1939 is a compilation of documents relating, a census of male persons between the ages of 18 and 65 and a census of property under the National Registration Act 1939. The product includes explanations and instructions, legislation, forms, cards etc. of the Commonwealth of Australian and the Bureau of Census and Statistics.

This product was never published and as part of our history project the ABS is now making this available.
