Three data manipulation facilities are available for users of the Analysis Service:

  • Drop Variables allows users to drop unwanted variables from the dataset.
  • Drop Records allows users to construct complex expressions from existing variables to remove unwanted records or observations.
  • Create New Variable allows users to create new continuous or categorical variables by constructing expressions involving constants or existing variables.
