Population
All life insurance companies which submit a return to the Insurance and Superannuation Commission. Major fund managers offering specified products to the public (personal superannuation, superannuation master trusts, annuities and pensions).
Superannuation Data Items
  • Analysis and Analysis by State contain details of market share of life insurance companies, premium income (annual premium and single premium basis), asset size and number of funds, at the national level and state level in the respective publications.
  • Asset Analysis contains details of asset allocations of statutory funds of life insurance companies.
  • Master Trust Analysis contains details of 75 master trust products, being all those issued by life insurance companies and the major master trusts issued by prospectus. The survey provides analysis on a product by product basis, comparison of fees and charges, market share analysis and overview of the market as a whole.
