Timely improvement for ABS mobile apps

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has been working in collaboration with external partner Mnet Mobile to deliver improvements to our external suite of mobile applications for dissemination.

One of the most exciting and timely changes is the update to the ABS Stats app for iOS and Android which now includes 2016 Commonwealth Electoral Division (CED) boundaries. The update comes as Australians prepare for a federal election on Saturday, 2 July and means you can now view 2011 Census data for your current electorate.

In addition to this, we have updated ABS Stats for iOS with a fresh look and feel, making it easier to use and nicer to look at! The app has new features, including a simple way to add your favourite key indicators and an easy way to share stats with your friends on social media.

We have also made minor improvements to ABS Stats for Android, including a sleeker mapping interface, while still maintaining all your favourite features.

Download the ABS Stats app today for the latest statistics, straight to your phone.

Find ABS Stats for Android free on the Google Play Store, or ABS Stats for iOS free on the App Store.
