Australia's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate increased 0.2 percentage points to 5.7 per cent in June, as announced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) today.

The ABS reported the number of people employed increased by 10,300 to 11,668,500 in June. The increase in total employment was mainly driven by increases in female part-time and male part-time employment.
