New Email Notification Service for ABS publications The ABS has established a free Email Notification Service whereby you may register your interest to receive an email alert on a particular topic, whenever there is a statistical release related to that topic. This is a very useful device for any media wishing to be notified at 11.30am AEST of ABS releases. All members of the Press Gallery and media elsewhere are urged to subscribe to the range of publications in which they have an interest. Never again miss a release! This service is available now. How do you subscribe ??? Users will be able to register for the service from a link on the ABS web site home page under the Statistical Releases heading. Users will be able to register for one topic, many topics or all releases. Users will also be able to unsubscribe from one or all releases, as well as query their subscriptions. Once in the notification selection page, just tick as many boxes as you like, enter your email address and push the subscribe button. You will then be sent a confirmation email, which must be returned to enable the ABS to activate the subscription. Querying and unsubscribing follow similar processes. If the product you are interested in has a 'Main Features', the link in the notification email will be linked to the 'Main Features'. Alternately, if the product does not have a 'Main Features', it will be linked to the ABS on-line catalogue entry. The email will also contain a link to the week's forthcoming releases and the ABS web site. Enquiries regarding the email notification service should be sent through the Subscription Support link via the email notification page, which will generate an email and a reply will be forwarded back to you.
