The ABS Gender Diversity Action Plan (GDAP) 2014-2017 is one of the plans that form the core of the ABS Workplace Diversity Program.

Through its strategies, the GDAP aims to increase the representation of women in the ABS Senior Executive Service to levels which better reflect and capitalise on the diversity of our workforce. The key mechanism for achieving this goal over the life of the GDAP is the removal of barriers which may prevent groups of staff from having equal opportunities to reach their full potential. A number of the strategies presented in this GDAP therefore have the potential to be of benefit to all staff, regardless of their classification or gender.
