Detailed Description
Population
Superannuation fund managers, including the managers of the superannuation funds of the top 100 companies, managers representing 95 percent of public sector superannuation funds and managers of all major institutional funds.
Superannuation Data Items
This report provides an analysis of the superannuation industry and selected retail superannuation products (e.g. Master Trusts, Super Bonds, Super Plans and DIY super). It also provides extensive product distribution and performance, market share analysis including forecasts for future growth.

Major reliance is placed on primary research undertaken by Mintel. Secondary research and international research are also used.

Method of Collection
Several methodologies are used. These include superannuation traces; telephone product attribute survey; delphi studies of industry participants; and field collections of fund manager and planner sales patterns. In addition, 95% of the public sector population are interviewed and 100 companies are canvassed to represent the corporate sector.
