DESCRIPTION

The Labour Mobility Survey provides biennial information on the movement patterns of persons who had worked at some time during the year ending February. It provides information on job mobility and job tenure. Data are cross-classified by standard demographic and labour force variables.

The survey provides some data on education which may be useful in examining links between education and labour mobility. The following education data items are available:

    • Level of highest educational attainment
    • Level of highest non-school qualification
    • Highest year of school completed.
For further information, see Directory of Statistical Sources.
