GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL ESTIMATES

08/10/2014 Note: The following values have been corrected:

• Western Australia GFS Net Operating Balance, GFS Net Lending/Borrowing and cash surplus/deficit in the State Governments, Key Analytical Balances 2014–15 table
• State and All Australia GFS Revenue, GFS Net Operating Balance and GFS Net Lending/Borrowing in the All Levels of Government, Operating Statement 2014–15 table
• State and All Australia surplus/deficit in the All Levels of Government, Cash Flow Statement 2014–15 table

All other data are unaffected.


Government Financial Estimates (GFE) for the commonwealth and state governments are compiled from initial budget forecasts. This release presents consolidated 2014–15 budget forecasts for the general government sector for Commonwealth, Multi-jurisdictional, State, Local and All levels of Government. Two main statements are presented; the Operating Statement and the Cash Flow Statement.

Data for this release are sourced from the commonwealth and state government budget forecasts.

NOTE: The spreadsheets (datacube) providing more detailed data for the All levels of Government Operating and Cash Flow Statements, and State Government Operating and Cash Flow Statements have been delayed. A second release of this publication is scheduled for 18 November, 2014 and will include these statements along with any revisions to the tables below. In the interim, users could refer to the linked websites for additional information on each jurisdiction's budget.
