IMPACT OF THE FLOODS

Flooding in Queensland began in late December 2010. Data collection and processing for the data in this publication were not disrupted. It is expected that the economic impact of floods/cyclone in Queensland and other states, if any, will be reflected in the forthcoming issues of this publication.

PRIVATISATIONS

Privatisations occurred during December 2010 quarter. The privatised entities were included in the scope of the public sector and Government Finance Statistics as Public Non-Financial Corporations prior to privatisation. From the privatisation date they have moved to the private sector and will be captured in ABS business survey collections.
