ABOUT THIS RELEASE
Statpak Online is a free web-based national catalogue of ABS products aimed mainly at secondary school teachers. ABS products and services are listed under headings for the key learning areas in secondary education and also with a general reference and a state/territory section. The key learning areas cover Maths, Information Technology, Health, Physical Education, Tourism and Hospitality Studies, Economics, Commerce and Business Studies, Industry and Enterprise Statistics, English, The Arts, Studies of Society and the Environment, and Agricultural and Horticultural Studies. The list of products change every year with the most up to date and suitable products being selected according to the requirements and changes in the National Curriculum Standards Framework and the various State year 12/VCE study guidelines. The Catalogue is now online, however promotional material is sent to 2 points in every school in Australia in conjunction with the subscription renewals mailout in Oct/Nov.
It is also distributed through other promotional activities of the National Education Services section such as education conferences. A print version of Statpak Online is available by request for schools unable to access it via the internet.
