Contains experimental projections of the Indigenous population of each State and Territory and Australia by age and sex as at 30 June for each year from 1991 to 2001. Projections are based on experimental estimates as at 30 June 1991 and published in Experimental Estimates of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Population: June 1986 to June 1991 (3230.0). The publication also includes sex ratios, median ages and comparisons between the Indigenous and the total population. A description of the method used to produce the projections is included.
