ABOUT THIS RELEASE

Presents a descriptive framework for measuring the knowledge-based economy and society through use of relevant statistics. The framework consists of five broad dimensions, each populated by a number of characteristics and statistical indicators. The aim of the paper is to stimulate discussion and provoke feedback on the proposed framework.
