Topics include barriers to labour force or education participation; payment of education expenses; characteristics of young persons in education; education and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities; unemployment and effect on living standards. This report is part of a series of publications for the International Year of the Family, based on findings from the 1992 Survey of Families in Australia and the 1993 Survey of Families in Australia and the 1993 Survey of Disability, Ageing and Carers.
