6407.0 - Price Index of Materials Used in Building Other Than House Building, Six Capital Cities and Canberra, Mar 1996

Measures price movements of materials delivered on site for use in constructing buildings other than houses. Index numbers are published for each State capital city, and Canberra separately, and for the weighted average of the six State capital cities. Index numbers are published for a range of selected building materials; electrical materials; mechanical services components; plumbing materials; and 'All Groups'. For the weighted average of the six State capital cities, index numbers are also published for materials classified by major ASIC groups.
