CHANGES IN THIS ISSUE

This issue includes new quarterly measures of total retail turnover per capita. Current price estimates and chain volume measures are presented in original, seasonally adjusted and trend terms. For further detail, see the 'Quarterly measures of total retail turnover per capita' Appendix of this publication. The full time series is available from the Downloads tab of this publication on the ABS website (table 19 and table 20).

Updated online retail turnover estimates for the June 2014 reference month are provided and explained within the appendix section of this publication.

An annual seasonal reanalysis based on estimates up to and including April 2014 identified a number of minor revisions in the previous release of this publication. Quarterly estimates have been updated in this issue to reflect these changes.

REVISIONS

A revision has been applied in this issue to the original estimates for Hardware, Building and Garden Supplies Retailing and Clothing Retailing. Hardware, Building and Garden Supplies Retailing was revised by +$61 million and Clothing Retailing was revised by -$11 million as a result of updates to survey respondent information.

Revisions to seasonally adjusted estimates are due to revisions to original estimates as well as the concurrent methodology for deriving seasonal factors.
