ORIGINAL ESTIMATES
  • In original terms, the May 2007 merchandise imports were $15,632m, an increase of $1,046m (7.2%) on the revised April 2007 merchandise imports of $14,586m.


PRELIMINARY BALANCE OF PAYMENTS GOODS IMPORTS
  • Preliminary analysis shows that goods imports (debits) on a balance of payments basis increased by 3% in seasonally adjusted terms between April and May 2007.
