Main Features Value of Work Done, States and Territories About this Release	VALUE OF WORK DONE STATES AND TERRITORIES CHAIN VOLUME MEASURES - TREND ESTIMATES NEW SOUTH WALES The trend estimate for the value of work done fell 0.3% in the December quarter and has fallen for three quarters. VICTORIA The trend estimate of the value of work done fell 2.0% in the December quarter, continuing a steady decline since December 2005. QUEENSLAND The trend estimate for the value of work done rose 4.4% in the December quarter, continuing the period of strong growth since December 2003 quarter. SOUTH AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for the value of work done fell 5.4% in the December quarter and has fallen for three quarters. WESTERN AUSTRALIA The trend estimate for the value of work done rose 1.3% in the December quarter. This is the sixteenth consecutive quarter of increase. TASMANIA The trend estimate for the value of work done fell 2.8% in the December quarter, and has fallen for two quarters. NORTHERN TERRITORY The trend estimate for the value of work done fell 18.3% in the December quarter, continuing a pattern of consecutive quarterly falls that began in the September 2005 quarter. AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY The trend estimate for the value of work done rose 6.4% in the December quarter and is showing increases for three quarters.
