ALTERATIONS AND ADDITIONS TO RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of alterations and additions to residential building rose 0.8% in December and has risen for five months. NON-RESIDENTIAL BUILDING The trend estimate for the value of non-residential building approved rose 1.1% in December and is now showing rises for eight months. The trend estimates for the value of non-residential building approved should be interpreted with caution. See the data notes on page 2 of this publication.
