In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 2.9% to 9,536 dwellings, the lowest number since March 2001. PRIVATE SECTOR HOUSES The trend estimate for the number of private sector house approvals fell 3.3% and has fallen for 13 months. In seasonally adjusted terms the estimate fell 2.3% to 6,813 houses, the lowest number since March 2001. PRIVATE SECTOR OTHER DWELLINGS The trend estimate for the number of private sector other dwellings approved fell 9.5% and has fallen for seven months.
