Live sheep exports in the September quarter 2009 decreased 27% to 802 thousand, compared to the September 2008 quarter. Gross value decreased 11% to $76.8 million, while unit value increased 22% to $95.82 during the same period.


EXPORTS OF LIVE CATTLE

Exports of live cattle in the September quarter 2009 increased 12% to 253 thousand, compared to the same period in the previous year. Gross value increased 14% to $160.0 million, and unit value increased 2% to $631.50 during the same period.
