Beef production in the June quarter 2010 increased 1% to 524 thousand tonnes compared to the previous quarter. MUTTON AND LAMB Mutton production in the June quarter 2010 decreased 14% to 35 thousand tonnes compared to the previous quarter. Lamb production remained little changed compared to the previous quarter, at 103 thousand tonnes. PIG MEAT In the June quarter 2010, pig meat production remained little changed compared to the previous quarter, at 84 thousand tonnes. TOTAL RED MEAT Total red meat production remained little changed compared to the previous quarter, at 756 thousand tonnes. CHICKEN MEAT Chicken meat production in the June quarter 2009, increased 2% to 214 thousand tonnes compared to the previous quarter.
