Beef:
In the June quarter 2012 beef production decreased by 1% to 513 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Veal:
In the June quarter 2012 veal production decreased by 3% to 10 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Mutton:
Mutton production increased by 2% to 31 thousand tonnes during the June quarter 2012.

Lamb:
In the June quarter 2012, lamb production increased by 3% to 108 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Pig meat:
In the June quarter 2012, pig meat production remained steady at 88 thousand tonnes.

Total red meat:
Total red meat production remained steady at 750 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.

Chicken meat:
Chicken meat production increased by 2% to 264 thousand tonnes when compared to the previous quarter.
