Main Features Employed Persons,Trend estimates Unemployed Persons,Trend estimates Aggregate monthly hours worked,Trend estimates About this Release Australia's unemployment rate at 5.1 per cent in June 2010 (seasonally adjusted): ABS (Media Release)	AGGREGATE MONTHLY HOURS WORKED TREND ESTIMATES FULL TIME The trend estimate of full time aggregate monthly hours worked fell from 1,170 million hours in June 2000 to 1,143 million hours in November 2001. The trend then generally rose to 1,336 million hours in July 2008, before falling to 1,292 million hours in July 2009. Full time aggregate monthly hours worked has since risen to stand at 1,332 in June 2010. PART TIME The trend estimate of part time aggregate monthly hours worked has steadily risen from 159 million hours in June 2000 to 232 million hours in June 2010. TOTAL The trend estimate of total aggregate monthly hours worked fell from 1,330 million hours in June 2000 to 1,315 million hours in November 2001. The trend then generally rose to 1,551 million hours in July 2008 before falling to 1,514 million hours in June 2009. The trend has since risen to stand at 1,564 million hours in June 2010.
