TIME SERIES GENERAL GOVERNMENT
GENERAL GOVERNMENT TIME SERIES
GFS revenue for the general government sector across all levels of government increased by $26,690 million (6.8%) from $390,701 million in 2006-07 to $417,391 million in 2007-08. Over the same period GFS expenses have increased by $27,456 million (7.6%) from $360,424 million to $387,880 million. This resulted in an decrease of $765 million in the GFS net operating balance from $30,277 million to $29,512 million.
Between 30 June 2007 and 30 June 2008 GFS net worth for all levels of government increased by $147,929 million from $714,257 million to $862,186 million.
