ACCRUAL OPERATING RESULTS
 
 
The GFS net operating balance for all levels of government in 2008-09 was -$20,987 million for the general government sector and -$21,847 million for the total public sector.
 
GFS net lending in 2008-09 was -$42,750 million for the general government sector and -$63,886 million for the total public sector.
