Also provides information about the characteristics of victims, the characteristics of their most recent incident and whether the incidents were reported to police. Victims of physical and face-to-face threatened assault were also asked if they believed alcohol or any other substance contributed to their most recent incident of assault. Also includes information about victims of selected personal fraud offences. Also includes relevant standard demographic, labour force and other socio-economic details. A detailed list of data items is available on the Downloads tab.

The microdata enables users to tabulate, manipulate and analyse data. Steps to confidentialise the dataset are taken to ensure the integrity of data and maintain confidentiality of respondents. This includes removing any information that might uniquely identify an individual, reducing the level of detail for some items and collapsing some categories.
