These tables were revised from the original specifications to provide comparable data.

An I-Note from the Downloads tab accompanies this datacube with more information about workers and supporting references.

13/04/2012 - The sequencing of Tables 19, 20, 24-26 and 34 in the first release (7 March 2012) has been updated to reflect the new table sequencing in the second release due to the inclusion of additional tables in the second release.

Due to a small change in the editing and linking of episode records from jurisdictional files to data from the Child Care Management System, the number of episodes and children undertaking preschool programs has changed slightly in the Episode and Child level tables from those presented in the first release of data on 7 March 2012. As a result there is also a small change to the total number of children enrolled and attending preschool programs in some states and territories (ranging between 2-10 children).

Workers tables have been withheld for the second release (13 April 2012) and will be publically available shortly afterwards once the validation process is completed. These tables include:

39 - WORKERS DELIVERING A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM, Highest level of qualification, Education field, State and Territory;

41 - WORKERS DELIVERING A PRESCHOOL PROGRAM, Highest level of qualification, Role of worker, State and Territory
