Topics

Census Topics help you discover the range of data you can get from the Census.

We have looked at the full range of data produced from the Census and grouped them together to form these topics. They help you uncover all the Census data items related to your subject of interest.

So if you want to find out what languages people speak in your area, then you would look at the 'Ethnicity, Language and Religion' topic and follow the links directly to the data.

QuickStats and TableBuilder Basic will use these topics to help you find your way around the data. With QuickStats you can view summary data for a range of these topics or you can use TableBuilder Basic to build a custom table for your topic of interest. View the databases for each topic in the TableBuilder Basic Databases page.

There will be a web page for each Topic that will include a description of what data items area available and links to some tables we have created for you which you will be able to further customise to meet your unique needs.
