NOTES FORTHCOMING ISSUES
CHANGES IN FUTURE ISSUES From the December quarter 2014, all index numbers will be calculated on a new index reference period of 2011-12. This will result in index numbers for each index series being reset to 100.0 for the financial year 2011-12. Period-to-period percentage changes may differ to those previously published due to rounding and the re-referencing. These differences will not constitute a revision. From the December quarter 2014 selected Time Series Spreadsheets (Tables 1 to 9b) will also include quarterly and annual movements. These tables are available from the Downloads tab on the ABS website. The series identifiers for existing indexes in these tables will not change. The expenditure value weights used to compile the WPI are updated in the December quarter using expenditure on wages and salaries. The December quarter 2014 update will use expenditure on wages and salaries from the 2014 Survey of Employee Earnings and Hours.
